Translation Department only works with translators who have high level
qualifications in areas specifically linked to the activity of translation.
Translations into the different languages handled are done solely by native-language
translators, using the most up to date terminology sources and the most
advanced translation support tools.
The final result is a text that conveys the exact meaning of the source
language, perfectly expressed in the target language.
Our revisers are professionals specialised in a wide range of activities
and with proven experience.
Our translators and revisers are chosen on the basis of rigorous selection
criteria that emphasize qualifications and respect for professional ethics.
We can therefore guarantee both quality and confidentiality.

How we work
|
|
The Lisbon Translation Department is run by Rita Aranha who coordinates
a team of project managers and who supervises all stages of the process
from the first contact with the Client through to the delivery of the
translation, passing through the following stages:
-
Quotation
Due to the specific nature of each job, the Client normally receives
a quotation. Send us your request for a
quotation.
-
Translation
Once the quotation is accepted, the text is sent to the most suitable
translator, chosen on the basis of language and the subject.
-
Revision
After translation, the text is revised by a professional specialised
in the relevant area of activity.
-
Final reading
After revision, the text is given a final reading to ensure that the
completed product is perfect. We pride ourselves in always providing
our Clients with a high quality product.
-
Delivery
The text is delivered to the Client on the medium requested (paper
or computer file) and using either fax, post or e-mail. We always
meet agreed deadlines thanks to using modern technology in our communications
with both our external staff and our Clients (internet, intranet).
In our Offices in Oporto and Braga, an identical process is followed
under the supervision of Celeste Faria.
Markus Schwarz heads our Localisation Department and he is always available
to provide Clients with information on this service.
In Lisbon, Oporto or Braga, any member of our staff is always ready
to provide you, by telephone, fax or e-mail, any information required
concerning prices, timings, availability, etc.
